EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE - FREE LOVE! FREE LOVE! WHAT'S WRIGHT IS WRONG!

"I'm worried that Love isn't Free!"

That's LOVE as the name of an airport, and FREE as a VERB!

WE WANT TO SET LOVE FREE FROM A STRANGE AND ANTIQUATED LAW.

LET'S GET THE RIGHT AMENDMENT, NOT THE WRIGHT AMENDMENT.

"Fares will fall up to 50% to and from North Texas..."

Don't you love the story of Southwest Airlines? I rode on a plane recently with Herb Kelleher and I wanted to thank him personally for making my life easier. I love their attitude, and their user-friendly ways. I have family in Dallas (and live in San Antonio) and often go up there, and, because of my hectic schedule, sometimes can't make the flight. The money just rolls over in my SW account. No paperwork, no worry about changing plans, etc.

SW flies out of Love Field in Dallas (not the massive DFW- THE THIRD LARGEST AIRPORT IN THE FIELD WHICH HARDLY NEEDS "PROTECTION" FROM "COMPETITION"), and WE WANT TO SET LOVE FREE.

From the SET LOVE FREE website:

"Both HR 2646 and S.1424 will free Dallas Love Field from the Wright Amendment- a protectionist, antiquated federal law passed in 1979 that makes it illegal for commercial air carriers to fly to or from Dallas’ Love Field to points beyond Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Alabama, Kansas, and Mississippi."

"DFW Airport is now the 3rd largest airport in the world and does not need the protection of a 26-year-old law that restricts competition. The average one-way business fare to and from North Texas is 48% above the national average. American Airlines has a monopoly in 49 Wright Amendment protected domestic markets that serve over 6.5 million one-way passengers each year."

"If DFW Airport is forced to compete with Dallas Love Field, fares would fall and more people could afford to travel."

"All studies commissioned on the Wright Amendment concluded that fares will fall up to 50% to and from North Texas if the Wright Amendment is repealed. A study by the Campbell-Hill Aviation Group also determined that the Wright Amendment costs consumers nationwide over $4 billion annually."
